  • My child is on the waitlist. What should I do? 

You can log in to LotterEase and continue to check your child’s waitlist status or you can wait for an automatic communication. When there is significant movement up or down the waitlist, an email will be generated to alert you. Once you are in waitlist position 1-5 an automated notice is generated with every move. Please check your junk mail to make sure you are receiving the alerts.

 

  • We live with a grandparent/aunt/family member and the utility bills are in their name. How do I give proof of residency for my child?

Visit the front office and fill out a Village Tech Dual Residency Affidavit. Please bring a utility bill and come with the person whose name is on the utility bill. That person will also need to bring their driver’s license (or picture ID with address). We typically have a notary on campus who can notarize the form.

 

  • The status in LotterEase says “Being Reviewed by District”. What does this mean?

This means that your child’s information is being processed. There is nothing you need to do. 

 

  • Will my child receive a schedule?

At VT we have a tradition. Your child’s teacher will call you. The phone calls are typically made during the week right before school and will happen before Meet the Teacher Night. 

 

  • I filled out the online application. Do I need to do anything else?

First, make sure the automatic emails generated from LotterEase confirming your application did not go to your junk mail. After that, nothing else. You can log in at any time to check your child’s status. An email will be generated to alert you if there is any movement on the waitlist.

 

  • What do I do if I can no longer log into LotterEase?

There is a Reset button you can use to reset your password. For any other issues there is a Help button which sends an email to one of our Student Serivces Coordinators.
