Help Grow Village Tech

Phase 1 is complete and we have officially moved into our new campus at 402 West Danieldale Road in Duncanville, Texas! Phase 2 is currently in progress and Phase 3 funding is needed.

We could not have gotten here without your support, dedication, and efforts to Village Tech. But we are not through yet with out work. We now must continue on the path to raise the funds for our new campus. This is where we need your help with our first HGVT Crowdfunding Capital Campaign. It doesn't matter what you give, but just that you give.

Students and Parents can enjoy many benefits of getting involved in our HGVT Crowdfunding Campaign. Not only will we be working towards our new campus, but we will be creating a founders wall at our new school for those involved in this campaign. This will be a permanent recognition of all names who give during this time.

Benefits of a new campus!

Our permanent campus site plan in Duncanville calls for a 125,000 square foot facility that includes:

  • Student Body of approximately 1040
  • Functioning Classroom space for Grades PreK-12
  • Fully functioning Forge with one main room and four ancillary rooms with age-specific spaces
  • Active play space
  • Gym, Multi-purpose Meeting and Collaboration space
  • Media and Community room
  • Computer and Science labs
  • Garden and Outdoor space

Why a new campus?

Village Tech is presently on East Parkerville Road and South Clark Road in Cedar Hill. This location was never intended to be a permanent home for our students and as the village grows, the need becomes more apparent. It's time to forge forward.

The FORGE, central to VT's learning environment cannot fully accommodate the needs of all age students. Insufficient parking for facility, students and events. Lack of large meeting space. Safety issues related to access and weather.

General atmosphere relative to windows, ceiling height, and portables. Campus acreage limits any expansion for exercise space and gym. Lease on present facility expires in 2018.

In short, we've reached critical mass.
