Village Tech Schools had the privilege to host the Dallas ISD School Retool program on February 12.
As part of the program, our guests were taken on a guided tour of our campus by our students. After, a panel of students and teachers formed for our quests to ask questions about the culture of VT.
The program is designed to take a cohort of assistant principals through various experiences to redesign their school environments in small ways, known as hacks. Village Tech served as the deeper learning model school visit for the third year in a row. One of the assistant principals remarked, “I am inspired by how articulate these students are and how much they own the mission and vision of the school.”
Thank you to Dallas ISD for sharing your insights and being a thought partner in this work.
