Village Tech Schools was able to present both our campus and our culture at the Leader in Me Symposium, hosted in Dallas, in early February.
VT sent two students, Azja Cain and Mikala Perry, along with Second Grade Teacher, Hannah Sargent, and Director of Culture and Character, Kristy Quinn, to Irving for the conference. The group presented a demonstration of a Student Led Conference, explained how they impact our students along with why they are important, and fielded questions regarding the practice.
The next day, VT hosted teachers and administrators from across the country. Visitors were shown around the new campus, and were able to see presentations from students on subjects being learned in class.
We are grateful for the opportunity by Leader in Me to not only participate in the conference, but to show off our campus and our work as a host school.
