We Are Village Tech

Through great teachers working together, we are forging students who are character driven, challenge ready and community focused. Village Tech Schools is a tuition-free, public charter school serving grades PK4-12th.

VT works for and with students through design, making, and leadership. We are a response to the demands of the community we serve for education that is reimagined to prepare students for a hyper-connected world. In addition to traditional academic outcomes, we equip students with technical, professional and social-emotional skills. For our students to be viable in the world of work, they need human skills: the ability to be creative, build team-based relationships, and deal with ambiguity and complexity. Our teachers are designers of meaningful work that connects students to the world beyond school.

Student Spotlight

Senior Graduation
We are proud of, amazed, and inspired by our first ever graduating class! What a privilege these past five years have been. Graduation night was full of tears, excitement, and joy as we celebrated the accomplishments of the best of the best!

You will always be a loved part of this Village family.

Our hope for our graduates is that they were given opportunities to learn who they are, and to develop their own voice, values and passions. May they each move forward with experiences of learning that were active and immersive, teaching them failure is only one part of solving problems, but empathy, creativity, and teamwork should drive every aspect of solutions and design. Each of these students have the power to do good and make a difference, and we hope they have an understanding that they have a place in this world and are capable of giving to their local and global community.

Our Seniors Graduated:
- 100% Distinguished Diploma
- 92% college/military acceptance
- $750,000+ in scholarships (even 3 signed athletes)

We believe students who learn who they are, learn things that last, and learn they belong will be equipped for a hyper-connected, rapidly changing world. They will have the technical, academic, professional and social-emotional expertise necessary to thrive in the century ahead.
